Forgiveness is Freedom.

So many people who have been abused, neglected, and or
hurt in many other ways have great difficulty getting to true
forgiveness. The way to get stuck and block yourself from
forgiveness is to mistakenly believe that by holding on to
your anger, rage, and hate that you are getting revenge
upon the person you choose not to forgive. Nothing could
be further from the truth.

Forgiveness is NOT about justifying anyone's wrong
behaviour, ever. Forgiveness is not about forgetting.
Forgiveness does not mean that you have to reconnect
or have the person you want forgive involved in your life.

Forgiveness is remembering and making a choice to let
go. The letting go is for you. Forgiveness is a gift that you
can give to yourself. If you continue to hold the hurt, anger,
and hate, you only hurt yourself. You are not hurting the
person or persons that hurt you.

In order for forgiveness to be possible it is necessary to
stop blaming. No matter how much we may have suffered
as children we will stay stuck in our pain as long as we
continue to blame our abusers for all that has gone asunder
in our lives.

When we own our own issues, and when we realize that most
of the things we are not pleased about in our lives are a
direct result of our own choices, only this kind of ownership
of our issues will enable us to move forward and to forgive.

Forgiveness is Freedom.

Bus Conductor - Nice Puzzle with Logically Good Answer...!!!

Once there was a bus conductor, who was very rude to his passengers.

One day a beautiful young girl, of around 18 years, tried to board
the bus, but he didn't stop the bus.
Unfortunately the beautiful young girl came under the bus and died on
the spot.
Angry passengers took the conductor to the police station, who in
turn took him to the court.

The judge was not at all impressed with him and gave him capital
punishment. He was taken to the electrocution chamber. There was a
single chair in the center of the room and a single banana peel
at one corner of the room.

The conductor was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to
him. But to everyone's amazement, he survived.
The judge decided to set him free, and he returned to his profession.

After a few months, this time, a good looking middle aged woman
tried to board the bus but the conductor didn't stop the bus.

Unfortunately, this time also, the good looking middle aged woman
came under the bus and died on the spot. Again angry passengers
took him to the police station, who in turn took him to the court. The
judge took one look at the conductor and gave him capital punishment.

The Bus conductor was taken to the same electrocution chamber
where there was a single chair in the center of the room and a
single banana peel at one corner of the room.
He was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to him.
This time also to everyone's amazement, he survived. The judge
decided to set him free, and he returned to his profession.

A couple of months later, an elderly gentleman tried to board the
bus. This time the Bus conductor, remembering his earlier
experiences, stopped the bus. Unfortunately the elderly gentleman
slipped and died due to his injuries. The conductor was taken to
the police station and then to the court, to the same judge.
Though he hadn't done anything wrong, but considering
his past record the judge decided to set an example and gave him
capital punishment.

The Bus conductor was again taken to the
same electrocution chamber where there was a
single chair in the center of the room and a single banana peel at
one corner of the room.
He was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given
to him. This time he died instantly !!!!!!!!!!!

The question is why didn't he die on the first two occasions, but
died instantly the third time?? Try to solve it yourselves. This
is rather interesting and answer is perfectly logical. If
necessary read the puzzle once again. Still if you can't,
then look below.........

think hard

Answer:

During the first two times, the conductor was a Bad Conductor,
therefore electricity didn't pass through him.
But during the third time,
he was a good conductor, electricity passed through him freely
and he died!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha Ha Ha ha !!!!!!!!

Obviously you have to revise your science chapter on Electricity???

Great Speech on Late Sitting in Office.

Read Mr. Narayana Murthy's Speech ( Read last line twice). I am not relating this to the present scenario.

Hope that many of us start leaving early for home after reading this...

Infosys' Chairman and Chief Mentor Officer (CMO) - Mr. Narayana Murthy's Speech on Late Sitting:

I know people who work 12 hours a day, six days a week, or more.

Some people do so because of a work emergency where the long hours are only temporary. Other people I know have put in these hours for years. I don't know if they are working all these hours, but I do know they are in the office this long. Others put in long office hours because they are addicted to the workplace. Whatever the reason for putting in overtime, working long hours over the long term is harmful to the person and to the organization.

There are things managers can do to change this for everyone's benefit. Being in the office long hours, over long periods of time, makes way for potential errors. My colleagues who are in the office long hours frequently make mistakes caused by fatigue.

Correcting these mistakes requires their time as well as the time and energy of others. I have seen people work Tuesday through Friday to correct mistakes made after 5 PM on Monday.

Another problem is that people who are in the office for long hours are not pleasant company. They often complain about other people (who aren't working as hard); they are irritable, or cranky, or even angry. Other people avoid them. Such behaviour poses problems, where work goes much better when people work together instead of avoiding one another.

As Managers, there are things we can do to help people leave the office.

First and foremost is to set the example and go home ourselves. I work with a manager who chides people for working long hours. His words quickly lose their meaning when he sends these chiding group e-mails with a time-stamp of 2 AM, Sunday.

Second is to encourage people to put some balance in their lives. For instance, here is a guideline I find helpful:

1) Wake up, eat a good breakfast, and go to work.
2) Work hard and smart for eight or nine hours.
3) Go home.
4) Read the comics, watch a funny movie, dig in the dirt, play with your kids, etc.
5) Eat well and sleep well.

This is called recreating. Doing steps 1, 3, 4, and 5 enable step 2. Working regular hours and recreating daily are simple concepts. They are hard for some of us because that requires personal change. They are possible since we all have the power to choose to do them.

In considering the issue of overtime, I am reminded of my eldest son.

When he was a toddler, If people were visiting the apartment, he would not fall asleep no matter how long the visit, and no matter what time of day it was.! He would fight off sleep until the visitors left.. It was as if he was afraid that he would miss something. Once our visitors' left, he would go to sleep. By this time, however, he was over tired and would scream through half the night with nightmares. He, my wife, and I, all paid the price for his fear of missing out.

Perhaps some people put in such long hours because they don't want to miss anything when they leave the office. The trouble with this is that events will never stop happening. That is life! Things happen 24 hours a day.

Allowing for little rest is not ultimately practical. So, take a nap. Things will happen while you're asleep, but you will have the energy to catch up when you wake.

Hence "LOVE YOUR JOB BUT NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR COMPANY (Because you never know when it stops loving you)" - Narayana Murthy

The Girl with X-Ray Eyes (Realty)

~ Natasha Demkina ~
The Girl with Very Normal X-Ray Eyes

Natasha Demkina has an extraordinary gift which means she can quite literally see right through people. Her story sounds like it has come straight from the pages of a science fiction comic book, but doctors have yet to disprove her amazing abilities. Natasha is able to look into people’s bodies and correctly diagnose their medical problems, without any help from ultra-sound or x-ray equipment.

Natasha’s mother, Tatyana Vladimovna, says that her daughter appeared to be like any other child as she grew up although she was mature for her age. Natasha learned to do things more quickly than other children; she was able to talk at just six months and by the time she was a year old she could recite Pushkin. At three she had learned the alphabet and mastered how to operate a snow mobile.
When she was ten Natasha went into hospital to have her appendix removed. There were complications and it was discovered that cotton swabs had been left in her abdomen. Natasha had a second operation to remove the swabs and one month later she began to remark on the fact she could see inside people. She told her mother she saw what looked like a vacuum cleaner hose, two beans and a tomato inside her. Tatyana believed that although she didn’t know the correct words what her daughter was describing were her intestines, kidneys and heart.

At the children’s hospital in her home town of Saransk in Western Russia, doctors ran a battery of tests to find out if the little girl really did have x-ray vision. In one case Natasha drew a picture of what she saw inside a doctor’s stomach, marking a dark spot exactly where he had an ulcer. She also disagreed with the diagnosis of a cancer patient, saying all she could see was a small cyst. Further tests on the woman proved that Natasha was correct.

Natasha was brought to England by a national newspaper and she successfully spotted all of the fractures and metal pins in a woman who had recently been in a car crash. The woman was fully clothed and had no visible signs of how or where she had been injured.

Natasha is an icon in Russia. She receives dozens of phone calls each day and people queue outside her parents tiny flat to wait for consultations. Now 17 years old, Natasha wants to go to medical school in Moscow to train to be a doctor so she can continue helping people. But the only way her family will be able to afford to send her to university is to charge 400 roubles (£8) for each consultation she gives.

Natasha often has headaches after these sessions and finds it emotionally exhausting because of the illnesses she diagnoses. Ironically the only person she is unable to use her x-ray vision on is herself.

Why Students Blamed for Failing in Exams...!!!

This is a good one. I don't understand why people blame us for not studing.
Here are the explanations check that out. I like it very much because it is true...!!!

It is no fault of student because a year has only 365 days.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Days in a year = 365 days
Sundays = 52 days (Sundays are ment for rest)
Days left = 313 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Summer Vacations = 60 days (Weather is very hot, so it is difficult to study)
Days left = 253 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eight hours of daily sleep = 122 days (Necessary)
Days left = 131 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One hour daily for play = 15 days (It's good for health)
Days left = 116 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two hours for daily food = 30 days (Chew the food properly, don't care for time)
Days left = 86 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Examination days in a year = 30 days (Giving exams is necessary)
Days left = 56 days
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Winter vacations = 25 days (Weather is cold, it's difficult to study)
Days left = 31 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other holidays = 20 days (These holidays are to enjoy)
Days left = 11 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Illness atleast once a year = 8 days (Because of illness, study is difficult)
Days left = 3 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Result days =3 days (Going and taking result is necessary)
Days left = 0 days

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So tell me where there is time to study...???

Falling Leaves

I was thinking of old friends today and how many of them have slipped away.

Moved, got married, or stopped calling so much, Found new friends, got busy, and just lost touch.

It reminded me of falling leaves.

Every autumn the leaves fall from the trees.

Some stay longer than others, but eventually - Each leaf must fall,
I'm told, leaving the tree alone to face the cold.

Why is it that in the time of utmost need the leaves would seek to leave the tree?

And when we need our friends around we look and they cannot be found?

Of course these friendships come and go and in the spring new leaves will grow.

But I prefer autumn friends of old with crackling laughter and colors bold.

And then I thought - Best Friend.

That one stubborn leaf that won't let go.

That clings despite the winds that blow.

Fighting ice, and snow, and winter's stings - Hanging on right through till spring.

A Story of Great Boss...

There were about 70 scientists working on a very hectic project. All of them were really frustrated due to the pressure of work and the demands of their boss but everyone was loyal to him and did not think of quitting the job.

One day, one scientist came to his boss and told him - Sir, I have promised to my children that I will take them to the exhibition going on in our township. So I want to leave the office at 5 30 pm.

His boss replied "OK, You're permitted to leave the office early today".

The Scientist started working. He continued his work after lunch. As usual he got involved to such an extent that he looked at his watch when he felt he was close to completion. The time was 8.30 PM. Suddenly he remembered of the promise he had given to his children.

He looked for his boss, he was not there. Having told him in the morning itself, he closed everything and left for home.

Deep within himself, he was feeling guilty for having disappointed his children. He reached home. Children were not there. His wife alone was sitting in the hall and reading magazines.

The situation was explosive, any talk would boomerang on him. His wife asked him "Would you like to have coffee or shall I straight away serve dinner if you are hungry.

The man replied "If you would like to have coffee, I too will have but what about Children ??"

Wife replied "You don't know ?? Your manager came here at 5.15 PM and has taken the children to the exhibition".

What had really happened was ... The boss who granted him permission was observing him working seriously at 5.00 PM. He thought to himself, this person will not leave the work, but if he has promised his children they should enjoy the visit to exhibition.

So he took the lead in taking them to exhibition.

The boss does not have to do it everytime. But once it is done, loyalty is established.
That is why all the scientists at Thumba (India) continued to work under their boss eventhough the stress was tremendous.

By the way, can you hazard a guess as to who the boss was..?

He was none other than Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, President of India . . .

VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED BY YOU...!!!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?".

Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this".

He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, "Who still wants it?".

Still the hands were up in the air. "Well," he replied, "What if I do this?".

And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

"Now who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.

Many times in your lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.

We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

You are special don't ever forget it!

Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

Funny Love Letter :-)

A collegian was deeply in love with a foreign girl, whom he wanted to marry, but he did not have the courage to talk to her in person. So he decided to go home and with the aid of a dictionary, wrote a letter of proposal to her.

THIS IS WHAT HE WROTE......

My Darling

Most worthy of your estimation, after a long consideration and much meditation, I have a strong inclination to become your relation.

As to my educational qualification, it is no exaggeration or fabrication, that I have passed my matriculation, no doubt without any hesitation and very little concentrated preparation. What you say to the solemnization of our marriage celebration according to the population of the present generation.

On your approbation of this application, I shall make preparation to improve my situation, and if such obligation is worthy of consideration and commiseration, it will be an augmentation of the joy and exultation of our joint dissimulation.

Thanking you in anticipation and with devotion.

I remain, A victim of your fascination

THE GIRL REPLIES......

Dear Mr. Victim of my fascination,

Congratulations for your lengthy narration, of course, full of affection, aimed at an affliction for a combination, which on examination, I find it a fine presentation of your co-operation, but your inclination to become my relation should embrace more qualification so that you may reach high position.

You have passed the matriculation examination with little concentration and preparation. What about my graduation after much concentration and botheration? So improve your situation in education and make an application by acquisition of post graduation, the minimum qualification for the consideration of our marriage celebration. After your education, attend the convocation and before taking your photo for circulation, undergo beautification.

Further, strict observation of the following conditions is the regulation for determination of our relation:

1. Consultation with my parents before approaching for any connection.
2. Communication of your confirmation that you are not a victim of "any other" fascination, and 3. Procreation must not be your recreation.

In anticipation of solid action of continuation of proper conversation.

Unaffected by your affection.

A Good Creed...

If any little word of ours
Can make one life the brighter;
If any little song of ours
Can make one heart the lighter;
God help us speak that little word,
And take our bit of singing
And drop it in some lonely vale
To set the echoes ringing.

If any little love of ours
Can make one life the sweeter;
If any little care of ours
Can make one step the fleeter;
If any little help may ease
The burden of another;
God give us love and care and strength
To help along each other.

If any little thought of ours
Can make one life the stronger;
If any cheery smile of ours
Can make its brightness longer;
Then let us speak that thought today,
With tender eyes aglowing,
So God may grant some weary one
Shall reap from our glad sowing.

An Interesting Quiz for ur Lateral Thinking Abilities --- Think!!!

1. There is a man who lives on the top floor of a very tall building.Everyday he gets the elevator down to the ground floor to leave thebuilding to go to work. Upon returning from work though, he can onlytravel half way up in the lift and has to walk the rest of the wayunless it's raining! Why? (This is probably the best known and mostcelebrated of all lateral thinking puzzles. It is a true classic.Although there are many possible solutions which fit the initialconditions, only the canonical answer is truly satisfying. )

2. A man and his son are in a car accident. The father dies on thescene, but the child is rushed to the hospital. When he arrives thesurgeon says, "I can't operate on this boy, he is my son! " How canthis be?

3. A man is wearing black. Black shoes, socks, trousers, lumper, gloves and balaclava. He is walking down a black street with all thestreet lamps off. A black car is coming towards him with its light offbut somehow manages to stop in time. How did the driver see the man?

4. Why is it better to have round manhole covers than square ones? Thisis logical rather than lateral, but it is a good puzzle that can besolved by lateral thinking techniques. It is supposedly used by a verywell-known software company as an interview question for prospectiveemployees.

5. A man went to a part y and drank some of the punch. He then leftearly. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently diedof poisoning. Why did the man not die?

6. A man walks into a bar and asks the barman for a glass of water. Thebarman pulls out a gun and points it at the man. The man says 'Thankyou' and walks out. (This puzzle claims to be the best of the genre. It is simple in its! statement, absolutely baffling and yet with acompletely satisfying solution. Most people struggle very hard to solvethis one yet they like the answer when they hear it or have thesatisfaction of figuring it out. )

SOLUTIONS..........Are.....

----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----

1. The man is very, very short and can only reach halfway up theelevator buttons. However,if it is raining then he will have hisumbrella with him and can press the higher buttons with it.

2. The surgeon was his mother.

3. It was day time.

4. A square manhole cover can be turned and dropped down the diagonalof the manhole. A round manhole cannot be dropped down the manhole. Sofor safety and practicality, all manhole covers should be round.

5. The poison in the punch came from the ice cubes. When the man Drankthe punch, the ice was fully frozen. Gradually it melted, poisoning thepunch.

6. The man had hiccups. The barman recognized this from his speech anddrew the gun in order to give him a shock. It worked and cured thehiccups-so the man no longer needed the water.

Spot the Fake Smile & Genuine Smile

Take this excellent Psychology Test for "Spotting Fake Smiles".

Most people are surprisingly bad at spotting fake smiles. One possible explanation for this is that it may be easier for people to get along if they don't always know what others are really feeling.

Although fake smiles often look very similar to genuine smiles, they are actually slightly different, because they are brought about by different muscles, which are controlled by different parts of the brain.

Fake smiles can be performed at will, because the brain signals that create them come from the conscious part of the brain and prompt the zygomaticus major muscles in the cheeks to contract. These are the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth outwards.

Genuine smiles, on the other hand, are generated by the unconscious brain, so are automatic. When people feel pleasure, signals pass through the part of the brain that processes emotion. As well as making the mouth muscles move, the muscles that raise the cheeks - the orbicularis oculi and the pars orbitalis - also contract, making the eyes crease up, and the eyebrows dip slightly.

Lines around the eyes do sometimes appear in intense fake smiles, and the cheeks may bunch up, making it look as if the eyes are contracting and the smile is genuine. But there are a few key signs that distinguish these smiles from real ones. For example, when a smile is genuine, the eye cover fold - the fleshy part of the eye between the eyebrow and the eyelid - moves downwards and the end of the eyebrows dip slightly.

Scientists distinguish between genuine and fake smiles by using a coding system called the Facial Action Coding System (FACS), which was devised by Professor Paul Ekman of the University of California and Dr Wallace V. Friesen of the University of Kentucky.

A Beautiful World...

You live in a beautiful world. The more you appreciate and enjoy that beauty, the more beautiful it becomes.

Beauty is impossible to define and, at the same time, impossible to ignore. You know what it is without having to learn.

Beauty is much more than mere physical appearance. In fact, magnificent beauty can often be found in what appears to be plain and ordinary, when you explore it deeply enough.

Beauty can awe, inspire and astonish. Beauty can energize your spirit in ways that nothing else can.
One of the nicest things you can do for yourself is to give yourself the time and space to simply take in the beauty that is around you. Beauty asks nothing more than to be treasured, and when you let yourself experience it, beauty has much to give.

There is beauty stretching out in all directions. Dive deeply into it, and it will make you more.

Ten Rules For Living

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called "Life." Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant or stupid.

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works."

4. A lesson is repeated until it is learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.

5. Learning lessons does not end. There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

6. "There" is no better than "here." When your "there" has become a "here" you will simply obtain another "there" that will, again, look better than "here."

7. Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. The answers to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.

10. You will forget all this.

Your Dimension of Greatness...

No one can know the potential,
Of a life that is committed to win;
With courage - the challenge it faces,
To achieve great success in the end!

So, explore the Dimension of Greatness,
And believe that the world CAN be won;
By a mind that is fully committed,
KNOWING the task can be done!

Your world has no place for the skeptic,
No room for the DOUBTER to stand;
To weaken your firm resolution
That you CAN EXCEL in this land!

We must have VISION TO SEE our potential,
And FAITH TO BELIEVE that we can;
Then COURAGE TO ACT with conviction,
To become what GOD MEANT us to be!

So, possess the strength and the courage,
To conquer WHATEVER you choose;
It's the person WHO NEVER GETS STARTED,
That is destined FOREVER to lose!

"Imagine yourself as you would like to be, doing what you want to do, and each day, take one step towards your dream. And though at times it may seem too difficult to continue, hold on to your dream. One morning you will awake to find that you are the person you dreamed of, doing what you wanted to do, simply because you had the courage to believe in your potential and to hold on to your dream."

What if one day.....

What if one day.....

If one day you feel like crying...

Call me. I don't promise that I will make you laugh,
But I can cry with you.

If one day you want to run away
Don't be afraid to call me. don't promise to ask you to stop...
But I can run with you.

If one day you don't want to listen to anyone...Call me.
I promise to be there for you.
And I promise to be very quiet.

But if one day you call...
And there is no answer...
Come fast to see me. Maybe I need you.
If I ever ignored you. I'm Sorry...

If I ever made you feel bad or put you down.
I'm Sorry...
If I ever thought I was bigger or better than you.
I Love You...

Don't ever forget that! Through bad times and good,
I'll always be here for you.
I am Sorry...For everything wrong I've ever done.
I'm writing this because what if tomorrow never comes?
What if I never get to say good-bye or give you a BIG hug?

What if I never get to say I'm sorry or I love you?
Because what if tomorrow never comes?
I LOVE YOU!

Connection between Mistakes and Experience

Mistakes are Painful when they happen,
But
Years later a collection of mistakes is called
Experience
Which leads us to Success......

Mother Your Were There

You were there when we took our first steps,
And went unsteadily across the floor.
You pushed and prodded: encouraged and guided,
Until our steps took us out the door...

You worry now "Are they ok?"
Is there more you could have done?
As we walk the paths of our unknown
You wonder "Where have my children gone?"

Where we are is where you have led us,
With your special love you showed us a way,
To believe in ourselves and the decisions we make.
Taking on the challenge of life day-to-day.

And where we go you can be sure,
In spirit you shall never be alone.
For where you are is what matters most to us,
Because to us that will always be home...

MOTHER...

You filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairytales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears.

You gave the gift of life to me
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there.

I hope that when you think of me
A part of you
You'll always see.

A Mother's Love

There are times when only a Mother's love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.

There are times when only a Mother's love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we've dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother's faith
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.

For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith
And a Mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.

Mother's Love

Her love is like
an island in life's ocean,
vast and wide.

A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the wind, the rain, the tide.
'Tis bound on the north by Hope,
By Patience on the West,
By tender Counsel on the South
And on the East by Rest.

Above it like a beacon light
Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;
And thro' the changing scenes of life
I find a haven there.

A Poem for My Mother.

I miss you so much,
your laugh, your smile, your touch.
You always brightened my days
with all the smiles you sent my way.
I need you as my angel
to always be at my side.
I need you as my angel
to give me peace of mind.
I like to think your near to me
to know that you are there.
Even though I can not see you,
I feel that you are near.
Please do not forget me mom,
for you are always in my heart,
my thoughts and prayers.
I love you.

A Mother...

When you're a child she walks before you,
To set an example.

When you're a teenager she walks behind you,
To be there should you need her.

When you're an adult she walks beside you,
So that as two friends you can enjoy life together...

AND GRANDMA'S TOO...

"While we honor all our mothers
with words of love and praise.
While we tell about their goodness
and their kind and loving ways.
We should also think of Grandma,
she's a mother too, you see....
For she mothered my dear mother
as my mother mothers me."

Mom's smiles can brighten any moment,
Mom's hugs put joy in all our days,
Mom's love will stay with us forever

THANK YOU MOM

I know how often I took you for granted
when I was growing up.
I always assumed you'd be there
when I needed you...
and you always were.

But I never really thought about what that meant
till I got older and began to realize
how often your time and energy were devoted to me.
so now, for all the times I didn't say it before,
thank you, Mom...I love you so very much!

Wonderful Mother

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.

Poem on Mother - Happy Mother's Day!!!!

M-O-T-H-E-R

"M" is for the million things she gave me,

"O" means only that she's growing old,

"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,

"H" is for her heart of purest gold;

"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,

"R" means right, and right she'll always be,

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.

Knock Knock Good Joke...!!!

Everybody on earth dies and goes to heaven. God comes and says,

"I want the men to make two lines. One line for the men that dominated their women on earth andthe other line for the men that were dominated by their women. Also, I want all the women to go with St. Peter."With that said and done, the next time God looked, the women are gone and there are two lines.

The line of the men that were dominated by their women was 100 mileslong, and in the line of men that dominated their women, there was only one man.

God got mad and said, "You men should be ashamed of yourselves.I created, you in my image and you were all whipped by your mates.Look at the only one of my sons that stood up and made me proud.Learn from him! Tell them my son, how did you manage to be the only one in this line?"

And the man replied, "I don't know, my wife told me to stand here."

GOOD WORDS

Many people will walk in and out of your life. But only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. To handle yourself, use your head; To handle others, use your heart. Anger is only one letter short of danger. Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. He, who loses money, loses much; He, who loses a friend, loses much more; He, who loses faith, loses all. Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself. Friends, you and me .... You brought another friend. And then there were 3 .... We started our group ... Our circle of friends .... There is no beginning or end......Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. Live your life fully.

7 Reasons Not to Mess with a Child...Good Jokes

1> A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".The teacher asked, " What if Jonah went to hell?" The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".

2> A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.

As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.

The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."

The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."

Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."

3> A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to "honor" thy Father and thy Mother, she asked,

"Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"

Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered,

"Thou shall not kill."
4> One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.

She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked,"Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?" Her mother replied,

"Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."

The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said,

"Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"

5> The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.

"Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or That's Michael, He's a doctor.'

A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, She's dead."

6> A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said,

"Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face.."

"Yes," the class said.

"Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?"

A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty."

7> The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples.

The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:"Take only ONE. God is watching."

Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.

A child had written a note,"Take all you want. God is watching the apples"

7 Don'ts After A Meal - Must Read...

1> Don't Smoke - Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigaretteafter meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).

2> Don't Eat Fruits Immediately - Immediately eating fruits after mealswill cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr aftermeal or 1hr before meal.

3> Don't Drink Tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to behardened thus difficult to digest.

4> Don't Loosen Your Belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easilycause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.

5> Don't Bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to thehands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach willtherefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.

6> Don't Walk About - People always say that after a meal walk a hundredsteps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walkingwill cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition fromthe food we intake.

TEN STEPS TO STOP WORRYING

All human beings worry sometime or the other. The following ten steps can help you keep your worries at bay.

Step 1: Never worry alone. Talk to someone about your problems. This will help put your problems in proper perspctive.

Step 2: Get the facts: Find out if your worry has any basis. Write down what is worrying you, it will help you isolate and identify the problem.

Step3: Take action. Don’t waste your time or energy on worrying. Try to confront and resolve your problems. Avoiding difficulties creates more stress in the long run.

Step 4: Take care of your body: exercise daily, eat healthy food and get enough sleep, because exercising will help relax your muscles. Taking care of your body physically will not only reduce tension, but also gives more energy to deal with the problem.

Step 5: Live for the moment : don’t worry about what will happen in the future and what happened in the past. Focus instead on the present.

step 6: Be positive: always focus on the positive side of things instead of brooding on negative thoughts. Develop a sense of humour.

Step 7: Set aside a worry period of about 30 minutes to think about your problems, arrive at solutions and ease your tensions.

Step 8: Remain busy: plenty of action is a cure for worry. Keeping yourself busy eliminates negative thoughts from your mind.

Step 9: Avoid self – medication: do not resort to taking unnecessary drugs or alcohol. Take professional help, if needed.

Step 10: Finally, count your blessings: whenever your worries make you feel low, think of the blessings. You will start to feel better.

PRAYER

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to You. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And it's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way.

I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.I pray for those who don't know You intimately.I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others.I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank You that I believe.
I believe that God changes people and God changes things.I pray for all my sisters and brothers.
For each and every family member in their households.I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God.
Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.

Management Lesson

Lesson Number : 1
******************
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day.
A small rabbit
saw the crow, and asked him, "Can I also sit like
you and do nothing
all day long?"
The crow answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit
sat on the ground
below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden, a fox
appeared, jumped
on the rabbit and ate it.

Management Lesson
-----------------
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting
very, very high up.

Lesson Number : 2
******************
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It
was so cold, the bird
froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While
it was lying there,
a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the
frozen bird lay there
in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how
warm it was. The dung
was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm
and happy, and soon
began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird
singing and came to
investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered
the bird under the
pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate
him!

Management Lessons
------------------
1) Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy.
2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your
friend.
3) And when you're in deep shit, keep your mouth
shut!

Lesson Number : 3
******************
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to
be able to get to the
top of that tree," sighed the turkey, but I haven't
got the energy.
"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my
droppings?" replied the bull.
"They're packed with nutrients." The turkey pecked
at a lump of dung and
found that it actually gave him enough strength to
reach the first branch
of the tree. The next day, after eating some more
dung, he reached the
second branch. Finally after a fortnight, there he
was proudly perched at
the top of the tree. Soon he was promptly spotted by
a farmer, who shot
the turkey out of the tree.

Management Lesson
-----------------
Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep
you there.

Power of Good Deed.

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?"

You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."

He said . "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many year's later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.

Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words ...

"Paid in full with one glass of milk"

(Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands."

There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?

What would you do if every time you wanted someone they would never be there?

What would you do if for every moment you were truly happy there would be 10 moments of sadness?

What would you do if your best friend died tomorrow?

So, I just wanted to say, even if I never talk to you again in my life, you are special to me and you have made a difference in my life.

I look up to you, respect you, and truly cherish you.

Send this to all your friends, no matter how often you talk, or how close you are, and send it to the person who sent it to you.

Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them, and tell new friends you never will.

Remember, everyone needs a friend; someday you might feel like you have NO FRIENDS at all, just remember this words and take comfort in knowing somebody out there cares about you and always will.

I'll Always Be There

In times of trouble,

In times of need,

If you are feeling SAD,

You can count on me.

I will give you a wink,

Until you smile,

give you a hug,

And stand by your side.

I'll be there for you till the end,

I'll always and forever, be your friend!

The Power of Meditation

The Power of Meditation

The generic meaning of meditation is the "healing of the mind or to take control of the mind". This is because the mind, a faculty of the soul, is very inquisitive, curious and travels with great speed. In reality, the mind is where all the thoughts are created or generated. It is similar to an antenna where all signals are received. On the average while one is awake, some 25-40 thoughts per minute enter the mind of which less than 10 percent are positive. The rest are idle, waste or negative.

Meditation simply means the management of your thoughts. It is to have the ability to think of what you want and when you want, without interference from other thoughts. Meditation is to develop the ability to concentrate on a particular subject without being attracted and influenced by the five senses, the five vices and the five elements. Yoga, which is associated with meditation, simply means to have union or make connection with some object, subject, person or God. However, yoga is usually associated with spirituality. Yoga is to have connection and to have dialogue or sweet conversation with the divine source of inspiration, whom many call God. Meditation, therefore is a prerequisite or condition that assists spiritual seekers to have unbroken, undisturbed and continuous access with divinity and this experience is called yoga, another form of prayer.

The benefit attained from meditation is that you have clarity of thought and have the ability to make the right decisions at the right time in every situation. When you make the right decisions consistently, then you achieve all your spiritual goals, desires and objectives with minimum energy. This means that you experience the greatest splendor with minimum expenditure. There is very little or minimum wastage of time, efforts and resources. Clarity of thought therefore is the ability to do the right things the very first time and never have to repeat things. To repeat things is very costly in time, money, resources and loss of opportunities. When you achieve the things that are under your control with minimum energy, then you are contented and where there is contentment there is happiness.

I speak truth, not so much as I would, but as much as I dare; and I dare a little the more, as I grow older. ~ Michel de Montaigne, translated.

Why Women Cry

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone,
he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said:
"When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,
yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."
